What is Hypnosis?It's the state that is seem likes a sleep. An altered state of consciousness, a trance state, akin to the stage between sleep and wakefulness. Also known as intensify of an ordinary psycho-physiological occurrence through a strong focusing of conscious concentration upon a specific outer or inner stimulus. The art and science of varying the perception, behaviors and states of mind of the self or others at the same time as in this altered state usually by suggestion. How does Hypnosis work?Hypnosis is contemplation to work by varying our state of awareness in such a way that the analytical left-hand side of the mind is turned off, while the non-analytical right-hand side is made more conscious. The conscious control of the mind is subdued, and the subconscious brain awoken. Since the subconscious brain is a deeper-seated, more instinctive force than the conscious mind, this is the part which has to change for the patient's behavior and corporeal state to change. |
