Infectious Diseases also known as Communicable diseases it kill more people globally than any other single cause. Infectious diseases are caused by germs like viruses, bacteria, protozoa, fungi, multicellular parasites, and aberrant proteins known as prions. Germs are minute living things that are found everywhere - in air, soil & water. You can get infected by touching, breathing or drinking something that have a germ. Germs can also spread through animal and insect bites, kissing & sexual contact. Vaccines, proper hand washing & medicines can help prevent infections. Transmission of an infectious sickness may arise through one or more of diverse pathways as well as physical contact with infected individuals. These infecting means may also be spread through liquids, food, contaminated objects, body fluids, airborne inhalation, or through vector-borne spread.
