Oncology

Oncology is the research and study of cancer. There are 5 main regions of oncology: etiology, biology, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. As a medical discipline, it draws upon a broad range of medical specialties like research discipline; oncology also involves specialists in many fields of biology and in a range of other scientific areas. Oncology has guided to most important progress in the understanding not simply of cancer but also of normal biology.
