AdministrationNursing Administration incorporates the awareness of both business and nursing management. It entails establishing the cost of nursing care, exploratory the relationship between nursing services and quality patient care, and resource and financial management. Students will look at nursing service delivery problems in the situation of policy analysis. Students will learn business issues, health care systems, and management accountability, and their impact on nursing care delivery. Other topics of study may contain health care law and policy, managed care operations, medical personnel management, cultural competency, and data management and analysis. Graduates can enter careers as chief nursing officers, directors of nursing, directors of nursing education, chief clinical officers, nursing supervisors and more. |
