SchizophreniaSchizophrenia is a group of related psychiatric illness of unidentified etiology that follows a definite pattern of behavior. Emblematic behavior seen in schizophrenia includes psychotic episodes in which there is a harsh mental disorder and perceptions of realism are indistinct. Psychotic episodes may also involve hallucinations. Schizophrenics repeatedly have delusions about personal identity, instant surroundings or society, and paranoia. Schizophrenia has a component of heredity, but many factors other than genetics are concerned. Schizophrenia is treated with antipsychotic drug. |
