Practical Nurse

Practical nurses in public health settings work with health care organizations and social-service agencies, high-risk groups, families, and individuals to identify and work out unmet environmental, social, and health needs. Their job is to offer education about way of life and behavior choices that can help prevent illness and promote good health. Practical nurses work in clinics, schools, homes, and other community locations.
