Christianity
What is Christianity? That's a difficult to give or explain the answer in few words, but this question is very important. A monotheistic system of beliefs and practices based on the Old Testament and the teachings of Jesus as embodied in the New Testament and emphasizing the role of Jesus as savior. There are easily perceived by the senses implications for Christians themselves: unless they have some concise explanation of the meaning of this word in mind, how can they detect with the senses that is and is not a Sticking fast of their religious faith? But it is also crucial for those who would offer critiques of Christianity because without some sort of explanation in mind, how can they tell what and whom they are criticizing? A very common rejoinder to criticisms of Christianity (or, more often, the actions of Christians) is the idea that we aren't talking about "True Christianity" or "True Christians." That then leads to a discussion about what "Christian" truly means and whether the groups in question fit some particular description. There is, however, a hidden introduction in that which needs to be challenged: that there is "One True Meaning" of Christianity out there, independent of us, our beliefs, and our actions. I don't accept that often as an explanation. Christianity is best defined by what Christians do. Thus, Christianity loves and good insofar as Christians are loving and good; Christianity is brutal and evil insofar as Christians are harsh and evil. Approximately one-third of all people in the world belong to the Christian religion, So There is no admittedly about that as a religion, it is one of the largest and most powerful forces on the planet - indeed, and it would without much doubt dominate the planet if it were not for the fact that it is divided in so many different ways. But what sort of religion is Christianity? Understanding the nature of Christianity and Christian belief can be greatly aided by having a better understanding of how and why it belongs to different religious groupings. Nothing in traditional Christian theology suggests that the primary way to find and experience God is in nature. Some outer boundary feelings of Christianity may lean more towards nature religions, but they are a tiny minority. In a similar sense, Christianity also isn't really a mystical religion. And they believe God is the creator of all people, the world, the universe, and everything seen and unseen. Jesus is the Son of God, that He is one with God, and that He was sent here for saving from evil or bad people. Jesus was mental image of the Holy Spirit of God and born through the Virgin Mary. Jesus suffered for our sins and was killing by nailing onto a cross. Jesus ascended into Heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father. |
