Feng Shui
What is Feng Shui?Feng Shui teaches us how to create harmony and balance around us, who uses the centuries-old art to design homes and businesses. The ideas date back at least 3,000 years, yet a growing number of architects and decorators are integrating feng shui ideas with contemporary building design. "Feng" means "wind" and "shui" means "water" (pronounced fung-shway). In Chinese culture gentle wind and clear water have always been associated with good harvest and good health, thus "good feng shui" came to mean good livelihood and fortune, while "bad feng shui" came to mean hardship and misfortune. Feng Shui is based on the Taoist vision and understanding of nature, particularly on the idea that the land is alive and filled with energy. Feng shui usesFeng shui is a Chinese concept and is a way of creating balance and harmony, not just in the bedroom, but in the entire house and in your life. It's a method of balancing the yin (feminine) and yang (masculine) aspects of life. Much thought should go into the decor of the bedroom, where peace and harmony is so important. Feng shui suggests that there is an interconnection with loving and honoring your pet and creating a greater sense of well being and happiness for yourself and other members of your household.
